The NeurodiverCity Training Academy

St Vincent’s School is a non maintained outcomes focused special school offering both day and residential provision for pupils from 4-19 years of age with sensory impairment and other needs, on a weekly term time basis.

They are known to provide a safe environment with high standards of education and care.

Pupils enjoy full access to the National Curriculum and an extended, enriched curriculum, ensuring specific needs are met.

Pupils are taught in small class groups by qualified Teachers of the Visually Impaired and are supported by experienced and qualified Learning Support Assistants.

Their Mobility Officers provide individually tailored, mobility and orientation sessions to all pupils.

Our partnership includes working with their students, teachers, governors and other partners to explore and develop braille and wearable tech based fashion. Our mutual ambitions include helping research and develop fashion based products, transferrable skills, further education opportunities, work based placements and future jobs.
